Շախմատի աշխարհի չեմպիոնի համար մրցախաղի առաջին պարտիայում գրանցվեց ոչ-ոքի:

Դուբայում մեկնարկած շախմատի աշխարհի չեմպիոնի համարմրցախաղում գործող չեմպիոն Մագնուս Կալրսենը սևերով մրցեց ռուս Յան Նեպոմնյաշչիի հետ:Պարտիայի 45-րդ քայլին գրոսմայստերները համաձայնել են ոչ-ոքի արդյունքի:

Հաջորդ պարտիան կկայանա նոյեմբերի 27-ին: Կարլսենը կխաղա սպիտակ խաղաքարերով:

Շախմատի աշխարհի չեմպիոնի տիտղոսի համար մրցախաղը մեկնարկել է նոյեմբերի 26-ին: Այնբաղկացած է 14 դասական պարտիայից: Գրոսմայստերը, որն առաջինը կվաստակի 7,5 միավոր,կդառնա աշխարհի չեմպիոն: Մրցախաղը կեզրափակվի դեկտեմբերի 15-ին: Հաղթողը կստանա 2 միլիոն եվրո:
