Կալկաթա քաղաքում շարունակվում է Tata Steel Chess India արագ և կայծակնային շախմատի մրցաշարը, որին մասնակցում է 10 շախմատիստ:

Լևոն Արոնյանը մրցումային առաջին օրը տարած 3 անընդմեջ հաղթանակներից հետո, երկրորդ օրը զիջեց առաջատարի դիրքը։

Նախ Արոնյանը պարտվեց Քուանգ Լիեմին, իսկ հետո երկու մրցակիցների հետ խաղերում խաղաղ դաշն կնքեց։ Արդյունքում հայ շախմատիստը 4 միավորով բաժանում է 2-3-րդ տեղերը:

Այսօր կկայանան արագ շախմատի վերջին՝ 7-9-րդ տուրերը, իսկ հետո կմեկնարկի կայծակնային շախմատի մրցաշարը:
