Թուրքական ավիացիան հարվածներ է հասցրել Իրաքի հյուսիսում գտնվող Հաքուրք շրջանի ուղղությամբ: «Անադոլու» գործակալության փոխանցմամբ՝ թուրքական ուժերը Քուրդիստանի բանվորական կուսակցության երկու անդամի են չեզոքացրել:

Թուրքիայի ազգային պաշտպանության բանակից հայտնել են, որ հետագայում ևս շարունակելու են պայքարը «ահաբեկիչների» դեմ տարածաշրջանում:

Թուրքիան տարիներ շարունակ ռազմական արշավներ և ավիահարվածներ է հասցնում Քուրդիստանի բանվորական կուսակցության անդամների ուղղությամբ, ինչպես Իրաքում, այնպես էլ Սիրայում: Վերջիններիս Թուրքիան ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն է համարում:
