Ճապոնիա աշխատանքային այցի ընթացքում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն այսօր Տոկիոյի օլիմպիական մարզադաշտում հետևել է ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերում մեր երկիրը ներկայացնող մարմնամարզիկ Արթուր Դավթյանի մրցելույթին։ Այս մասին հայտնում են նախագահի աշխատակազմից։

Մարզիկը հանդես է եկել հենացատկի որակավորման փուլում և բարձր միավորներ վաստակել։ Նախագահ Սարգսյանը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշել է, որ տպավորված է մեր մարզիկի ելույթով, և Հայաստանի օլիմպիական հավաքականին հաջողություններ է մաղթել։

«Սպորտը լավագույն ձևերից մեկն է աշխարհին ներկայանալու և աշխարհի հետ ծանոթանալու համար։ Օլիմպիական խաղերին մասնակցելն ինքնին արդեն հսկայական հաջողություն է։ Պատկերացրեք՝ գործ ունենք երիտասարդ մարդկանց հետ, որոնք իրենց կյանքը ներդնում են նպատակին հասնելու համար»,-նշել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը։
