Թուրքիայի նախագահ Թայիփ Էրդողանը սադրանք է որակել Ստամբուլում գտնվող հայկական Սուրբ Թագավոր եկեղեցու պատին պարեր բեմադրած տղամարդկանց արարքը:

Ավելի վաղ թուրքական լրատվամիջոցները հաղորդել էին, որ երկուշաբթի երեկոյան մի խումբ երիտասարդներ պարեր են կազմակերպել այն փողոցում, որտեղ գտնվում է եկեղեցին: Երկու հոգի՝ հարբած վիճակում, բարձրացել ենեկեղեցու պատի վրա և պարել: Խաչի դիմաց պարող տղամարդկանց մասնակցությամբ տեսանյութը տեղադրվել է սոցիալական ցանցերում: Ստամբուլի վարչակազմը հայտարարել է միջադեպի մասնակիցներին կալանքի տակ պահելու մասին, և նրանց նկատմամբ ընտրվել է խափանման միջոց՝ տնային կալանքի տեսքով:
