Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը (ՑԱԽԱԼ) հայտարարել է, որ չեզոքացրել է պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժման կարևոր դեմքերին։ Տեղեկությունը հայտնում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:

Չեզոքացման գործողությունն իրականացրել է ավիացիան։ ՑԱԽԱԼ-ի մամուլի ծառայությունը տեղեկացնում է, որ սպանվածների թվում են ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի ռազմական հետախուզության անվտանգության բաժնի ղեկավար Հասսան Կաոջին ու նրա տեղակալ Վալի Իսան, որը զբաղվել է հակահետախուզությամբ:

Ավելի վաղ ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժման «Ալ Քասամ» բրիգադի մարտական թևը հարյուրավոր հրթիռներ էր արձակել Իսրայելի ուղղությամբ: Շարժման ներկայացուցիչներն ընդգծել էին, որ գնդակոծությունների ակտիվացումը կապված է Պաղեստինի բնակելի շենքերին ուղղված հարվածների հետ:
