Եվրոպա լիգայի 1/2 եզրափակչի առաջին խաղում «Ռոման» հյուրընկալվելիս մրցում է «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդի» հետ և առաջին խաղակսից հետո հաղթում է 2-1 հաշվով:

Հանդիպման հաշիվը բացել են անգլիական թիմի ֆուտբոլիստները.  արդեն 9-րդ րոպեին Բրունու Ֆերնանդեշն գրավել է «Ռոմայի» դարպան ու առաջ մղել իր թիմին: 6 րոպե անց Լորենցո Պելեգրինին անվրեպ է իրացրել նշանակված 11-մետրանոցն ու հավասարեցրել հաշիվը: Իսկ 33-րդ րոպեին «Ռոման» հայտնվել է հաղթողի դերում, երբ Էդին Ջեկոն գրավել է մանկունիացիների դարպասը:

Հիշեցնենք՝ Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի կիսապաշտպան Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը «Ռոմայի» մեկնարկայի կազմում է մասնակցում իր նախկին թիմի դեմ խաղին:

Նշենք՝ զուգահեռաբար ընթացող խաղում «Վիլյառեալը» առաջին կեսից հետո 2-0 հաշվով հաղթում է «Արսենալին»:
