Ադրբեջանը Ռուսաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունից Հայաստանում «Իսկանդեր-Մ» հրթիռների մասին պատասխանով նամակ է ստացել, սակայն բավարարված չէ գերատեսչության այս պատասխանից: Այդ մասին Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւը հայտարարել է AzTV հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում: Նրա խոսքով՝ Ռուսաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտնել է, որ հրթիռները չեն արձակվել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հակամարտության ընթացքում, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Ռուսաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը պատասխանել է Ադրբեջանի պաշտպանության նախարարության նամակին: Ես ծանոթացել եմ այդ նամակին: Պատասխանում նշված է, որ ռուսական կողմը բալիստիկ հրթիռների արձակում չի նախաձեռնել: Իրականում սա մեր նամակի ամբողջական պատասխանը չէ, քանի որ մեր հայցի հիմնական հարցն այն էր, թե ինչպես է Հայաստանը ստացել «Իսկանդեր-Մ» մահաբեր հրթիռները»,- ասել է Ալիեւը:
