Մոլդովայի նախագահ Մայա Սանդուն ապրիլի 16-ին հանդիպել է տեղի հոգևոր հայ առաջնորդ Նժդեհ Քեշիշյանի և հայկական համայնքի փոխնախագահ Գենադի Բաբայանի հետ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է Մոլդովայի նախագահի աշխատակազմը:

Նախագահ Մայա Սանդուն նշել է, որ հայ ժողովուրդը դարերի պատմություն ունի և տեղի հայ համայնքն արդեն վաղուց երկրի անբաժան մասն է դարձել: Նա ընդգծել է, որ հայկական Սուրբ Մարիամ Աստվածածին եկեղեցին Քիշնևի հնագույն վայրերից է՝ կառուցված 1804 թվականին:

Մոլդովայի նախագահը հայտարարել է, որ միայն միասնաբար է հնարավոր կառուցել երջանիկ հասարակություն: «Միասին մենք կկարողանանք մեր ընդհանուր տունը՝ Մոլդովան դարձնել իսկապես ամուր և բարգավաճ երկիր»,- ասել է նա:
