Ուկրաինայի նախագահի աշխատակազմի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Իգոր Ժովկվան հայտարարել է, որ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին նախատեսում է հանդիպել Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելի և Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի հետ:

lb.ua կայքին տված հարցազրույցում Ժովկվան նշել է, որ Դոնբասում իրավիճակի սրման հետ կապված՝ Կիևն առաջարկել է բանակցություններ վարել «Նորմանդական ձևաչափով», բայց Ռուսաստանը հետաքրքրություն չի ցուցաբերել նման հանդիպման նկատմամբ: Նախագահի աշխատակազմի ղեկավարի տեղակալը ընդգծել է, որ Մինսկի և «Նորմանդական ձևաչափը» չեն կարող արգելափակված համարվել, քանի որ հանդիպումներ են անցկացվում Եռակողմ շփման խմբի մակարդակով:

Ժովկվան նաև ենթադրել է, որ Ռուսաստանը «բանակցությունները միտումնավոր տեղափոխում է ոչ կառուցողական մթնոլորտ»:
