«Հայաստանի վարչապետի աշխարհի մասին պատկերացումները կամ պրիմիտիվ են, կամ դիտավորյալ է մոլորեցնում սեփական քաղաքացիներին։ Ժամանակակից աշխարհում չկա «փոխշահավետ առևտուր» հասկացություն։ Մանավանդ, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի միջև չի կարող լինել նման բան։ Այս երկրները Հայաստանը չեն դիտարկում` որպես գործընկեր։

Նրանք նույնիսկ Հայաստանի ներկայիս միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված տարածքները համարում են իրենց տարածքները, այդ թվում` Երևանը։
Նրանց պատկերացմամբ Հայաստանը մի սովորական «միջանցք» է` Նոր Մետքասի ծրագրում, ուրիշ` ոչինչ։

Եթե Հայաստանը չլիներ ՌԴ անվտանգության երաշխիքների ներքո, ապա նրանք վաղուց էին առաջ շարժվել և վերցրել Զանգեզուրը, որը Ադրբեջանը Թուրքիային կապող միակ արդյունավետ ցամաքային տարածքն է».
