Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մոհամմադ Ջավադ Զարիֆն այցելել է Նախիջևան, հայտնում է IRNA-ն։ Զարիֆը Նախիևջանում է տարբեր բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների հետ տարբեր հարցերի վերաբերյալ բանակցություններ վարելու համար: 

Զարիֆը հայտնել է, որ երջանիկ է, թե իր տարածաշրջանային այցը, որ սկսվել էր Բաքվից, ավարտվում է ավարտում է Նախիջևանում։ Վերջինս նշել է, որ որ Նախիջևանի ինքնավար Հանրապետությունը կարևոր դեր ունի ապագայում՝ տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության հաստատմանը:

 «Նախիջեւանի Ինքնավար Հանրապետությունը ապագա խաղաղության կենտրոնն է տարածաշրջանում»,- ասել է նա:

Հիմնվելով Ադրբեջան, Ռուսաստան, Հայաստան, Թուրքիա եւ Վրաստան այցերի շուրջ բանակցությունների վրա` Զարիֆը հույս է հայտնել, որ իրենց կհաջողվի համապարփակ համագործակցություն ստեղծել տարածաշրջանում` Հարավ-Հյուսիս եւ Հարավ-Արևմուտք միջանցքների երկայնքով` հավելելով, որ միջանցքները կկապեն Պարսից ծոցը Ռուսաստանի եւ Սեւ ծովի հետ, որոնցից երկուսում էլ Նախիջեւանը կարեւոր դեր ունի:
