Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը ցավակցական հեռագիր է հղել Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հոր` Վովա Փաշինյանի մահվան կապակցությամբ։ «Հարգելի Նիկոլ Վովայի, Ընդունեք իմ ամենախորին ցավակցությունները Վովա Նիկոլի մահվան կապակցությամբ։ Հոր մահը ծանր, անդառնալի կորուստ է։ Անկեղծորեն կիսում եմ Ձեր ցավն ու վիշտը։ Այս դժվարին պահին ուժ և տոկունություն եմ ցանկանում Ձեզ, Ձեր հարազատներին և մտերիմներին», – գրված է Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի ցավակցական հեռագրում։ ՀՀ վարչապետին ցավակցություններ են հղել նաև Արցախի նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանը, Ղազախստանի նախագահ Կասիմ-Ժոմարտ Տոկաևը, ՀԱՊԿ գլխավոր քարտուղար Ստանիսլավ Զասը, Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար Անդրեա Վիկտորինը։ Վովա Փաշինյանը ավելի քան մեկ շաբաթ գտնվում էր հիվանդանոցում. տարիներ առաջ նրա մոտ քաղցկեղ էր ախտորոշվել։ Մահացել է դեկտեմբերի 16-ի՝ «Նաիրի» բժշկական կենտրոնում:
