Ֆլորիդա նահանգի Թամպա քաղաքի տան դիմաց անվտանգության տեսախցիկի ժապավենը նկարահանել է զարմանալի տեսարան՝ կայծակը հարվածում է ծառին այնպիսի մի օր, երբ ամպի նշույլ անգամ չկա։ USA.one-ը հայտնում է, որ Ջոնաթան Մուրը, ում Thinkware տեսախցիկը նկարահանել է ամպրոպը արեւային օրը, խոստովանել է, որ դեպքն իրեն անակնկալի է բերել` հիմնականում այն պատճառով, որ օր անսովոր արեւոտ էր, իսկ ամենամոտ ամպրոպն իր տանից ութ մղոն հեռու էր հարվածում:..

Ըստ Ազգային օդերեւութաբանական ծառայության՝ օգոստոսի 10-ին արեւմտյան եւ կենտրոնական Ֆլորիդայում տեղի են ունեցել մի շարք ամպրոպներ, որոնք իրենց հետ բերել են կայծակի հարվածներ եւ ուժեղ քամիներ: Ինչպես բացատրում են օդերեւութաբանները, երբեմն կայծակները սովորություն ունեն մի քանի մղոն հեռանալ ամպրոպային ամպերից եւ արդյունքում գետնին հասնել այն վայրերում, որտեղ անձրեւի նշան անգամ չկա։
