Ալբանիայում երկրաշարժից զոհվածների թիվը հասել է 35-ի։ Այս մասին տեղեկացրել է Albanian Daily News թերթը՝ հղում կատարելով երկրի իշխանությունների տվյալներին։

Մինչ այդ տեղեկացվել էր 27 զոհի եւ ավելի քան 650 տուժածի մասին։ Պարբերականի տվյալներով՝ ներկա պահին փլվածքների տակից հաջողվել է փրկել մոտ 45 մարդու։ Արտակարգ ծառայությունների աշխատակիցները շարունակում են փրկարարա-որոնողական գործողությունները, տեղեկացնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

6,4 ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժը Ալբանիայում տեղի է ունեցել նոյեմբերի 26-ին, տեղի ժամանակով ժամը 04.00-ին։ ԱՄՆ Երկրաբանական ծառայության տեղեկատվությամբ՝ էպիկենտրոնը գտնվել է մայրաքաղաք Տիրանայից ոչ հեռու գտնվող Շիյաք քաղաքից հյուսիս-արեւմուտք, 10 կիլոմետր հեռավորությամբ։ Օջախը գտնվել է 10 կիլոմետր խորության վրա։ Ցնցումները զգացվել են նաեւ Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիայում, Սերբիայում, Չեռնոգորիայում, Բոսնիա-Հերցեգովինայում, Հունաստանում, Խորվաթիայում եւ Իտալիայի հարավային որոշ մարզերում։

Ալբանիայի կառավարությունը նոյեմբերի 27-ը հայտարարել է համազգային սգո օր տարերային աղետի զոհերի հիշատակին։
