Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը և ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում ի թիվս այլ հարցերի քննարկել են նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության գոտում առկա իրավիճակը:
Այդ մասին հաղորդում է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ մամուլի ծառայությունը:
Քերիի նախաձեռնությամբ կայացած հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում անդրադարձ է կատարվել սիրիական խնդրին: Երկու երկրների արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարները հաստատել են նպատակամղվածությունը Սիրիայում հրադադարի պահպանման ուղղությամբ: Նրանք հակամարտող կողմերին կոչ են արել չձեռնարկել հրադադարին դեմ քայլեր, գործել հումանիտար իրավիճակի ամրապնդման շրջանակում:
Հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում քննարկվել է նաև Դոնբասի հակամարտության գոտում իրավիճակը:
