Կանադայում կինը կարողացել է երեխայի վրա հարձակված կատվառյուծի երախից պոկել 7-ամյա տղային։ Տղան խաղում էր բակում, երբ կենդանին հարձակվել է նրա վրա, տեղեկացնում է ABCNews-ը։

Չելսի Լոկհարթի խոսքով՝ նա լսել է երեխայի ճիչը, մտածել, որ ինչ-որ մեկի հետ վիճում է, բայց բակ վազելով՝ տեսել է, որ նրա վրա կատվառյուծ է հարձակվել։ Գիշատիչը չանչել էր երեխայի ձեռքը։ Չելսին «թռել» է կատվառյուծի վրա եւ փորձել բացել նրա երախը, որպեսզի ազատի երեխայի ձեռքը։ Նա ասել է, որ չգիտի, թե որտեղից այդքան ուժ ունեցավ, բայց նրան հաջողվել է ազատել տղայի ձեռքը։ Կատվառյուծը փախել է։

Տղան գլխին վերք է ստացել եւ ճանկռվածքներ պարանոցին ու ձեռքին։

Բրիտանական Կոլումբիայի Բնության պահպանության ծառայության ներկայացուցիչները հայտարարել են, որ գտել են երկու կատվառյուծ Չելսիի տնից ոչ հեռու։
