Հայաստանի թիմը շանս չի տվել ամերիկացիներին

Թուրքիայում ավարտին մոտեցող շախմատի պատանեկան (մինչեւ 16 տարեկան) օլիմպիադայի նախավերջին (8-րդ) տուրում Հայաստանի հավաքականը մրցել է ԱՄՆ-ի թիմի հետ եւ առավելության է հասել 3:1 հաշվով:

Հաղթանակներ են տարել Արթուր Դավթյանն ու Մամիկոն Ղարիբյանը, կեսական միավոր են վաստակել Շանթ Սարգսյանն ու Արմեն Բարսեղյանը:

Հայաստանի թիմը վաստակել է 10 միավոր եւ բաժանում է 7-14-րդ տեղերը: Առաջատար Ուզբեկստանն ունի 14, Չինաստանը՝ 13, Իրանն ու Հնդկաստանը՝ 12-ական, Բելառուսն ու Իսրայելը՝ 11-ական միավոր:

Դեկտեմբերի 2-ին կայանալիք վերջին տուրում Հայաստանի թիմը կմրցի Ռուսաստանի հետ, որը եւս վաստակել է 10 միավոր:

Նախորդ տուրերում Հայաստանի թիմը 3:1 հաշվով հաղթել է Մոլդովային, 4:0 հաշվով՝ պորտուգալացիներին, 2.5:1.5 հաշվով՝ դանիացիներին, 3.5:0.5 հաշվով՝ Ղրղզստանին, 1.5:2.5 հաշվով պարտվել է Շվեյցարիային, Ադրբեջանին եւ Հնդկաստանին:
