Միջազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեն մերժել է Թուրքիայի հայտը` 2026 թվականի Օլիմպիական խաղերը հյուրընկալելու համար:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մասի հայտնում է ՄՕԿ-ի պաշտոնական կայքը: 2026 թվականի ձմեռային խաղերն ընդունելու համար պայքարում են Կանադայի Կալգարին,  Իտալիայի Միլանն ու Կորտինա դ՝Ամպեցոն ու Շվեդիայի Ստոկհոլմը: Թուրքական Էրզրում քաղաքի հայտը մերժվել է տեսչական կոմիտեի ուսումնասիրության արդյունքում:

2026 թվականի խաղերի մայրաքաղաքը կընտրվի 2019 թվականին:
