Ինդոնեզիայի Լոմբոկ կղզում կիրակի՝ օգոստոսի 19-ին, կրկին ուժեղ երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել: Ստորգետնյա ցնցումների մագնիտուդը, ըստ ԱՄՆ երկրաբանական ծառայության (USGS) տվյալների, հասել է 6,3-ի։ Իր հերթին՝ Ինդոնեզիայի BMKG ծառայությունը գնահատել է 6,5 մագնիտուդ, փոխանցում է DW-ն։

UGSG-ի տվյալներով՝ ստորգետնյա ցնցումների էպիկենտրոնը գտնվել է կղզու արեւելյան՝ Բելանտինգ քաղաքից հարավ-արեւմուտք, 7 կմ խորության վրա։ Տուժածների եւ ավերածությունների մասին տեղեկություններ դեռեւս չկան։

Էլ ավելի ուժեղ երկրաշարժ՝ 8,2 մագնիտուդով գրանցվել է Խաղաղ օվկիանոսի հարավային հատվածում՝ Ֆիջիի Հանրապետության կղզիների շրջանում։ Սակայն ստորգետնյա ցնցումների մեծ խորության՝ ավելի քան 560 կիլոմետրի շնորհիվ լուրջ հետեւանքներ չեն սպասվում։

Լոմբոկում օգոստոսի 5-ին գրանցվել է 7 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ, որի հետեւանքով ավելի քան 460 մարդ է զոհվել։
