Լոնդոնի «Արսենալի» կիսապաշտպան Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանի հավաքականը կկարողանա մասնակցել ԱԱ-2022-ին, որը կկայանա Քաթարում։

«Հուսով եմ, որ հաջորդ անգամ մենք կմասնակցենք աշխարհի առաջնությանը։ Իհարկե դա բարդ խնդիր է։ Հայաստանի առաջնությունում ֆուտբոլիստների համար բարդ է աճ գրանցելը։ Այնտեղ դու կարող ես քեզ աստղ համարել, սակայն հայտնվելով ավելի մրցունակ վայրում հասկանում ես, թե իրականում ինչի ես ունակ։ Կարծում եմ, որ լավ կլինի, եթե շատ հայ ֆուտբոլիստներ հանդես գան եվրոպական առաջատար առաջնություններում»,- Մխիթարյանի խոսքն է փոխանցում kommersant.ru-ն։

Հիշեցնենք, որ ԱԱ-2018-ի որակավորման փուլի Е խմբում ընդգրկված Հայաստանի հավաքականը  7 միավորով զբաղեցրեց նախավերջին՝ 5-րդ տեղը։ Վերջին տեղում Ղազախստանն էր (4 միավոր)։
