ՀՀ պաշտոնաթող նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը փաստացի անտուն է մնացել: Ժողովուրդ օրաթերթը գրել էր, որ նախագահի լիազորությունների ավարտից հետո կառավարության որոշմամբ նրան առանձնատուն հատկացվեց, բայց կառավարական ամառանոցներից: Սա դժգոհության ալիք բարձրացրեց: Արդեն վարչապետի կարգավիճակում Ս.Սարգսյանը կառավարության առաջին եւ միակ նիստի ժամանակ հայտարարեց, թե հրաժարվում է իր առանձնատան սեփականությունից` ասելով, թե ,կարելի է այդ խնդրին անդրադառնալ հետագայում, երբ այս աթոռին նստած կլինի մեկ այլ վարչապետե: Այդ հայտարարությունից մեկ շաբաթ անց վարչապետի աթոռին նստած է Կարեն Կարապետյանը, սակայն Սարգսյանի առանձնատան հարցին այդպես էլ անդրադարձ չեղավ: Մինչդեռ, հիշեցնենք, որպես պաշտոնաթող նախագահ Սարգսյանը ՀՀ օրենսդրության համաձայն` պետք է առանձնատուն ունենա: Եւ Կարեն Կարապետյանը պարտավոր էր անդրադառնալ խնդրին:
