Վալերիա Զակլունան ծնվել է Վոլգոգրադ քաղաքում 1942 թվականի օգոստոսի 15-ին, նա համարվել է Ուկրաինայի տաղանդավոր դերասանուհիներից մեկը: 2004 թվականին ստացել է ՌԴ վաստակավոր դերասանուհու տիտղոսը: Նա խաղացել է 30 ֆիլմերում, որոնցից առավել հայտնի է  "Место встречи изменить нельзя" ֆիլմը: Դերասանուհին մահացել է 2016 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 22-ին: Հուղարկավորության արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել Ուկրաինայի Լեսի դրամատիկական թատրոնում:
