Ներկայացնում ենք շոտլանդացի էլեկտրիկ Քոլին Դևիդսոնին, ով հին տան վերանորոգման ժամանակ հին կտորների կեղտոտ խուրձ գտավ:

Տղամարդը hանկարծ դրա վրա տարօրինակ գրառումներ տեսավ:

Դևիդսոնը գտածոն զգուշությամբ դրեց տոպրակի մեջ, տուն տարավ: Երբ նրա կինը փաթեթը տեսավ, ասաց. «Դու այդ աղբը տուն չես բերի»:

Տղամարդը գտածոն տվեց ընկերոջը, որ պահի: Նա այն պահեց հին ամանի մեջ իր տան ավտոտնակում մի քանի տարի, մինչև անգին գտածոն տեսան պատմաբանները:

Պարզվեց՝ դա XVII դարի արժեքավոր քարտեզ է, որի հեղինակը նիդերլանդացի հայտնի քարտեզագիր Ջիրարդ Վալքն է:

Քարտեզը վերականգնեցին Շոտլանդիայի Ազգային գրադարանի մասնագետները:
