Ծանրամարտ. Մկրտիչ Մկրտչյանը ցավեցրել է ոտքը և չի կարողացել պայքարել մրցանակային տեղերի համար

Ալբանիայի Դուրրես քաղաքում ընթացող ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի երիտասարդական (Մ 20 և Մ 23) առաջնությունում Հայաստանը ներկայացնող 105 կգ քաշային Մկրտիչ Մկրտչյանը 23 տարեկանների մեջ ըստ նախնական հայտերի մեդալի իրական հավակնորդ էր,- տեղեկացնում է ՀԱՕԿ-ի պաշտոնական կայքը:   Սակայն նա ցավեցրեց ոտքը և չկարողացավ պայքարել մրցանակային տեղերի համար:     Պոկում վարժությունում Մկրտիչը 166 կիլոգրամով ճանաչվեց չորրորդը: Հրում վարժությունում առաջին մոտեցումով հայաստանցի ծանրորդը բարձրացրեց 198 կիլոգրամ ծանրաձողը և երկրորդ մոտեցման համար պատվիրեց 201 կգ: Սակայն վարժության կատարման ժամանակ Մկրտիչը ցավեցրեց ծունկը և ստիպված հրաժարվեց երրորդ մոտեցումից:   Այդուհանդերձ, մեր մարզիկի ցույց տված 198 կիլոգրամը հինգերորդ արդյունքն էր հրում վարժությունում, իսկ երկամարտում ունեցած 364 կիլոգրամը` չորրորդ ցուցանիշը:
