Սիրիայի Ռաքքա քաղաքի 80 տոկոսն ազատագրված է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման գրոհայիններից։ Այդ մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է Ria Novosti-ն, հայտնել են Սիրիայի դեմոկրատական ուժերը։

Տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ ասվում է. «Կարելի է ասել, որ Ռաքքայի 80 տոկոսն ազատագրված է։ Մեր ջոկատները շարունակում են քաղաքն ականներից մաքրելը և շարունակում են քաղաքի մնացած մասերում, որտեղ ընթանում են մարտեր, ահաբեկիչների հետապնդումը»։

Հիշեցնենք, որ Ռաքքան 2013 թվականից գտնվում է ԻՊ գորհայինների վերահսկողության ներքո։ Այն համարվում է ահաբեկիչների «մայրաքաղաքը»։ 2016 թվականից ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած միջազգային կոալիցիոն ուժերը սկսեցին քաղաքի ազատագրման մեծ օպերացիան։ Ներկա պահին, ըստ ՍԴՈՒ-ի, Ռաքքայում մնացել է մինչև 1000 ԻՊ գրոհային։

Ջոկատները այս պահին ընթացող մարտրը բնութագրում են որպես «Եփրատի ցասում» օպերացիայի ավարտական փուլ։
