Վայդելն ընդգծել է, որ չնայած Թրամփը ժողովրդականություն չի վայելում Գերմանիայում, իսկ իրենց ծրագրերում նմանություններ կան, դա չի խանգարի իր կուսակցությանը Բունդեսթագի առաջիկա ընտրություններում:
