Իտալական Սիցիլիա կղզու քարանձավներից մեկում հետազոտողները գինով անոթ են հայտնաբերել, որը, նրանց կարծիքով, թվագրվում է մ.թ.ա. 4-րդ դարին: Այս մասին հայտնում է The Local-ը:

Աղբյուրի հաղորդմամբ՝ ԱՄՆ-ի Հարավային Ֆլորիդայի համալսարանի հետազոտող խումբը հայտնաբերել է պղնձե անոթը Սիցիլիայի հարավ-արևմտյան ափին՝ Մոնտո Կրոնիո բլրի վրա գտնվող քարանձավում:

Հետազոտողների խոսքով՝ մեծ պղնձե անոթի մեջ հայտնաբերվել է գինեթթու և աղ, որոնք բնական ճանապարհով արտազատվում են գինեգործության գործընթացի ժամանակ:

Նշվում է, որ գտածոն շրջել է երկրում գինեգործության երեք հազար տարվա պատմությունը. պարզվում է՝ իտալացիները սկսել են գինի արտադրել ավելի վաղ, քան ենթադրվում էր:
