Տասը գրոսմայստերներ, այդ թվում հայկական շախմատի առաջատար Լևոն Արոնյանը, կխաղան արագ շախմատի մեկ և կայծակնայինի երկու շրջան:

Օգոստոսի 14-ից 16-ը գրոսմայստերները կմրցեն արագ շախմատում, 17-ից 18-ը` կայծակնայինում: Արագ շախմատում հաղթանակը 2 միավոր է, ոչ-ոքին` 1, կայծակնայինում հաղթանակը` 1, ոչ-ոքին կես միավոր:
