Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը նախազգուշացրել է Իրանին լուրջ հետևանքների մասին, եթե երկրի իշխանություններն ազատ չարձակեն կալանավորված ամերիկացիներին, հայտնում է Սպիտակ տան կայքը։


Ամերիկյան վարչակազմն ընդգծել է, որ Իրանը 40 տարի շարունակ օգտագործել է ձերբակալումն ու պատանդառությունը «որպես պետական քաղաքականության գործիք, և այդ պրակտիկան շարունակվում է մինչ օրս»։


Սպիտակ տունը նախազգուշացրել է Իրանին կալանքի տակ պահվող ԱՄՆ բոլոր քաղաքացիների անվտանգության համար պատասխանատվության մասին։


«Նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն ու իր վարչակազմը կրկնապատկում են իրենց ջանքերը երկրի սահմաններից դուրս անարդարացիորեն ձերբակալված բոլոր ամերիկացիներին տուն վերադարձնելու ուղղությամբ»,- ասվում է հաղորդագրությունում։


Հիշեցնենք, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ընդլայնել է Իրանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցները՝ բալիստիկ հրթիռների ծրագրերի և այլ «անօրինական գործունեության համար»։
