Ակնկալվում է, որ հանդիպումը կկայանա առաջիկա մի քանի շաբաթվա ընթացքում։ «Sky News»-ի զրուցակից աղբյուրը նշել է, որ այս քննարկումների նպատակը ղեկավարների մակարդակով հանդիպման համար հիմք նախապատրաստելն է, թեև դեռ զգալի աշխատանք կա կատարելու։

Ինչպես նշել է Reuters-ը, Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին նույնպես վերջերս հայտարարել է, որ ռուս, ուկրաինացի և ամերիկացի բանակցողները պայմանավորվել են հանդիպել տեխնիկական մակարդակով Աբու Դաբիում նոյեմբերի առաջին կեսին։ Նա նաև հույս է հայտնել, որ դրան կհաջորդի հանդիպում այդ երկրների ղեկավարների միջև։
