ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Եմենի նախագահ Ռաշադ ալ-Ալիմիի հետ զրույցում ռազմական աջակցության երաշխիքներ չի տրամադրել երկրի հյուսիսը վերահսկող շիա «Անսար Ալլահ» շարժման (հութիների) դեմ պայքարում. այս մասին հայտնում է Reuters-ը՝ վկայակոչելով սեփական աղբյուրները։

«Կիրակի օրը Թրամփը հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել Եմենի նախագահ Ռաշադ ալ-Ալիմիի հետ: Ալիմին ԱՄՆ-ին խնդրել է ԱՄՆ-ին աջակցություն ցուցաբերել իր՝ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի կողմից աջակցվող կառավարությանը՝ հութիների դեմ պայքարում: Զրույցի ընթացքում Թրամփը ռազմական աջակցության վերաբերյալ որևէ հստակ խոստում չի տվել», — հայտնում է գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով զրույցին քաջատեղյակ աղբյուրներ։

Նշվում է, որ Սպիտակ տունը և Եմենի կառավարությունը մեկնաբանություններ չեն տրամադրել։
