ԱՄՆ-ի Լոս Անջելես քաղաքում կայացած UFC 331 մրցաշարում միջին քաշային կարգում հանդես եկող ամերիկահայ մարտիկ Էդմեն Շահբազյանը հաղթել է բրազիլացի Բրունո Ֆերեյրային:

28-ամյա մարտիկն առավելության է հասել մրցավարների միաձայն որոշմամբ: Հաղթանակը տոնելիս Շահբազյանն օկտագոնում ծածանել է Հայաստանի պետական դրոշը:

Խառը մենամարտերում (MMA) Շահբազյանն անցկացրել է 23 մենամարտ, որոնցից 17-ում հաղթել է, իսկ 6-ում՝ պարտվել: 33-ամյա Ֆերեյրան իր ակտիվում այժմ ունի 15 հաղթանակ և 5 պարտություն:

Հիշեցնենք, որ UFC 331 մրցաշարի շրջանակում հաղթանակ էր գրանցել նաև UFC-ի թեթև քաշային կարգի դասակարգման երկրորդ համար Արման Ծառուկյանը: Հայ մարտիկը մրցաշարի երկրորդ գլխավոր մենամարտի հենց առաջին ռաունդում նոկաուտի էր ենթարկել բրազիլացի Մաուրիսիո Ռուֆիին:
