«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. 

ՔՊ աղբյուրները պնդում են, որ Գյումրու 102-րդ ռազմաբազայի թեման արհեստածին է, քանի որ այն Հայաստանի համար ռազմական պահեստ է, եւ 44-օրյայի ժամանակ էլ է այդ զինտեխնիկան օգտագործվել։ «Արեւմուտքի պահանջով՝ տաք ենք պահում թեման, բայց հաստատ այն հանելու հարց չենք դնի»,- ասաց պաշտպանական ոլորտի մեր աղբյուրը։ Նկատենք, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու թիմը, որ Բիշքեկից հետո հակառուսականությունը նվազեցրել էին, Ֆրանսիա այցից հետո նոր թափով են լծվել դրան, երեկ էլ Փաշինյանն ասաց․ «Մենք երբեք Հայաստանում գործող ռուսական ռազմաբազայի հարցը քննարկման չենք դրել, Ռուսաստանն է դրել քննարկման, եւ մենք դիրքավորվում ենք այդ քննարկման շուրջ»: Որքան էլ մղեցին, որ հստակ դիրքորոշում հայտնի, խուսանավեց․ «Բա ի՞նչ անենք, «Ուժեղ Հայաստանի» առաջնորդի նման ասենք՝ գնացինք մարդի, ունեցանք որդի, անունը՝ Կիկոս, գդակը՝ պոպոզ, բազան հանեցին, վեր ընկանք քարին, մնացինք անտեր: Չէ, ուզում են հանեն՝ թող հանեն»:
