Թեհրանի և Մասկատի միջև կնքված համաձայնագրերը, որոնց մասին երկու կողմերն էլ հույս ունեն հայտարարել երկուշաբթի օրը Օմանում կայանալիք հանդիպման ժամանակ, Իրաքի և Պարսից ծոցի երկրների մասնակցությամբ, չեն ներառում Հորմուզի նեղուցի բացումը, հաղորդում է իրանական «Թասնիմ» լրատվական գործակալությունը՝ հղում անելով իր աղբյուրին։

Ավելի վաղ Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հայտարարել էր, որ Թեհրանը սեպտեմբերի 14-ին, երկուշաբթի օրը, Օմանում հանդիպում կանցկացնի Իրաքի և Պարսից ծոցի երկրների հետ՝ Հորմուզի նեղուցում առևտրային նավագնացության անվտանգ ուղիները քննարկելու համար։

«Հիմնվելով Իրանի և Օմանի միջև բանակցությունների վրա, որոնք, ի վերջո, հանգեցրին սեպտեմբերի սկզբին վերջնական համաձայնագրի, Թեհրանի և Մուսկատի միջև ձեռք բերված համաձայնագրի մասին շուտով կհայտարարվի Պարսից ծոցի երկրների արտաքին գործերի նախարարների ներկայությամբ։ Այս համաձայնագիրը ոչ մի կերպ չի նշանակում Հորմուզի նեղուցի բացում», – Tasnim լրատվական գործակալությանը հայտնել է աղբյուրը։
