Նոյյան տապանի որոնման վայրում՝ Արարատ լեռան մոտ, հայտնաբերվել են ստորգետնյա անոմալիաներ։ Այս մասին գրել է թուրքական Milliyet թերթը

Հետազոտողները հայտնաբերել են ստորգետնյա դատարկ տարածություններ, անկյունային կառուցվածքներ և հարթ եզրերով խոռոչներ։ Ենթադրվում է, որ հայտնաբերված անոմալիաները կարող են լինել նավի բեկորներ։ Գիտնականները նախատեսում են երկու ամսվա ընթացքում անցկացնել ռադարային սկանավորում։

Մասնագետները ստեղծել են տեղանքի եռաչափ մոդելներ և կատարել են տեղանքի ստորգետնյա սկանավորում՝ պրոֆեսոր Ջենկեր Աթիլի ղեկավարությամբ։ Պարզվել է, որ կազմավորման ներսում ածխածնի մակարդակը 40 տոկոսով ավելի բարձր է, քան դրանից դուրս, ինչը վկայում է օրգանական նյութի կամ փայտի հնարավոր առկայության մասին։

Առարկայի ընդհանուր երկարությունը մոտավորապես 164 մետր է, որը համապատասխանում է տապանի աստվածաշնչյան նկարագրության 300 «հին կանգունին»։ Գիտնականները նախատեսում են հավաքել մոտավորապես 1000 հողի նմուշ՝ մանրամասն վերլուծության համար։
