Բոլոր անկախ երկրները պետք է հրաժարվեն Իրանի դեմ ԱՄՆ-ի տնտեսական պատերազմին մասնակցելուց և չճանաչեն հակաիրանական որևէ պատժամիջոց։ Նման կոչ է հրապարակել Իրանի ԱԳՆ-ն, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Իրանի դեմ ԱՄՆ տնտեսական պատժամիջոցները, անկախ դրանց անվանումից և ձևից, բացարձակապես ապօրինի և անհիմն միջոցներ են, որոնք խախտում են ՄԱԿ-ի Կանոնադրությունը, միջազգային հումանիտար իրավունքը և մարդու իրավունքները։ Ելնելով դրանից՝ բոլոր երկրները պարտավոր են ձեռնպահ մնալ նման պատժամիջոցների պահպանումից և կատարումից։ Բացի այդ, բոլոր պետությունները պարտավոր են չճանաչել և չաջակցել այն իրավիճակներին կամ հետևանքներին, որոնք բխում են այդ ապօրինի գործողություններից»,- նշվում է հայտարարության մեջ։

Իրանի ԱԳՆ-ում կարծում են, որ ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից տնտեսական պատերազմին այլ երկրների մասնակցությունը հավասարազոր կլինի մեկ պետության կամքի ապօրինի պարտադրմանը մյուս անկախ երկրներին, ինչը ՄԱԿ-ի Կանոնադրության հերթական կոպիտ խախտումն է։

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել էր Իրանի դեմ աննախադեպ ծավալների տնտեսական պատերազմի և մեկուսացման մեկնարկի մասին։ Ամերիկյան առաջնորդը նաև նախազգուշացրել էր, որ այն երկրները, որոնց ֆինանսական հաստատությունները, ձեռնարկությունները, օդանավակայանները կամ պետական կառուցները աջակցություն կցուցաբերեն Թեհրանին, կբախվեն ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից լուրջ տնտեսական հետևանքների։
