ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքականությունը Իրանի նկատմամբ վերջին 50 տարվա ընթացքում հանգեցրել է միայն երկկողմ թշնամանքի nւժեղացմանը. Բաղայի

ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքականությունը Իրանի նկատմամբ, որը ենթադրում է պատժամիջոցներ և տնտեսական ճնշում, վերջին 50 տարվա ընթացքում հանգեցրել է միայն երկկողմ թշնամանքի ուժեղացմանը։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Իրանի ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչ Էսմայիլ Բաղային, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Այն ուղին, որին ԱՄՆ-ը հետևում է 1953 թվականի օգոստոսի 19-ից մինչ օրս, որևէ այլ արդյունք չի բերել, բացի երկու կողմերի միջև չարության և թշնամանքի կուտակումից: Վերջին 50 տարիների ընթացքում ԱՄՆ-ն ինքն իրեն գցել է պատերազմների, սպառնալիքների, ճնշումների և պատժամիջոցների թակարդն ու արատավոր շրջանը»,- ասել է նա իր ամենշաբաթյա մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ։

Բաղային ընդգծել է, որ Իրանը ձեռնարկել է բոլոր նախազգուշական միջոցները և անհրաժեշտության դեպքում կօգտագործի բոլոր միջոցները՝ տապալելու ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի ցանկացած նոր թշնամական պլան Իրանի դեմ։

Առաջին պատժամիջոցները սահմանվել են Իրանում Իսլամական հեղափոխության հաղթանակից (1978-1979) կարճ ժամանակ անց։ Դրանց պատճառը 1979 թվականի նոյեմբերի 4-ին Թեհրանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատան գրավումն էր։ Այն ժամանակ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջիմի Քարթերի նոյեմբերի 14-ի հրամանագրով դադարեցվել էր իրանական նավթի գնումը, սառեցվել էին իրանական ավանդները ամերիկյան բանկերում և դրանց արտասահմանյան մասնաճյուղերում, ինչպես 10 արգելվել էր զինվորական սարքավորումների պահեստամասերի վաճառքը Իրանին:
