Ակնկալվում է, որ Իրանը շաբաթների ընթացքում կստանա չինական արտադրության մինչև 400 հակաօդային պաշտպանության հրթիռային կայանքների առաջին խմբաքանակը, քանի որ այն վերականգնում է իր պաշտպանությունը ԱՄՆ-ի հետ պատերազմի պայմաններում, Reuters-ին հայտնել են գործարանին ծանոթ երեք աղբյուրներ:

60-70 միլիոն դոլար արժողությամբ գնումը Թեհրանի ամենահայտնի ջանքերից մեկն է՝ ուժեղացնելու իր կարճ հեռահարության հակաօդային պաշտպանությունը ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի հետ պատերազմի բռնկումից ի վեր, որը բացահայտեց Իրանի՝ ռազմական օբյեկտներն ու ռազմավարական ենթակառուցվածքները պաշտպանելու կարողությունների բացերը։

Պայմանագիրը նախատեսում է 300-ից 400 մարդատար հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերի (MANPADS) գնում, ներառյալ չինական արտադրության QW-12 և FN-16 հրթիռները, հայտնել են աղբյուրները։

Գործարքը ստորագրվել է «Zhongqing Baoshang International Investment» հոնկոնգյան ընկերության հետ, որը, աղբյուրների համաձայն, հանդես է եկել որպես միջնորդ իրանական կողմի և չինական մատակարարի միջև:
