ԱՄՆ-ն հայտարարեց իրանական թիրախների վրա նոր հարվածների շարքի ավարտի մասին

ԱՄՆ զինված ուժերը ավարտել են Իրանի տարածքի դեմ ևս մեկ հարվածային գործողություն, հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ կենտրոնական հրամանատարությունը (CENTCOM):

ԱՄՆ ռազմական գերատեսչության տվյալներով՝ գործողության ընթացքում հարվածներ են հասցվել երկրի մի քանի շրջաններում գտնվող տասնյակ թիրախների։ Հարվածներում օգտագործվել են ճշգրիտ կառավարվող զինամթերք, կործանիչներ, ռազմանավեր և անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր։

Հրամանատարության X-ում հայտարարության համաձայն՝ ԱՄՆ զինված ուժերը օգտագործել են ոչ միայն անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր, այլև «առաջին անգամ հարձակվել են ծովային անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի» վրա։ CENTCOM-ը հայտարարել է, որ գործողության նպատակն էր նվազեցնել Իրանի կարողությունը Հորմուզի նեղուցում միջազգային նավագնացության վրա հարձակվելու համար։

Հրամանատարության տվյալներով՝ հարվածի թիրախների թվում են եղել հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգեր, ափամերձ ռադարային կայաններ և նավակներ։
