ԱՄՆ Կոլորադո նահանգի Բոուլդեր բնակավայրի 12-ամյա բնակչուհին մեղադրվել է մորը սպանելու փորձ կատարելու մեջ: 
 
12-ամյա աղջնակը երկու անգամ փորձ է արել սպանել մորը՝ թունավորման միջոցով: Աղջիկը առաջին անգամ մոր համար պատրաստել է կաթնային կոկտեյլ, որի մեջ լցրել է սպիտակեցնող նյութ: Մայրը հայտնել է ոստիկանությանը, որ ըմպելիքի մեջ տարօրինակ համ է զգացել, մտածել է որ աղջիկը պարզապես լավ չի լվացել բաժակը: 
 
Երկրորդ անգամ արդեն աղջիկը սպիտակեցնող նյութը լցրել է մոր ննջասենյակում դրված ջրամանի մեջ: Կինն այդ ժամանակ զգացել է քլորի համ, որից հետո խոսել է աղջկա հետ և պարզել, որ աղջիկը փորձ է արել սպանել մորը այն բանի համար, որ վերջինս թույլ չի տվել աղջիկ օգտագործի իր «iphone»-ը: Թե ինչ պատճառով թույլ չի տվել դեռևս հայտնի չէ: 
 
Դեռահասին դեռևս մեղադրանք չի առաջադրվել, այս պահին աղջիկը գտնվում է անչափահասների համար նախատեսված ոստիկանական բաժանմունքում:
