ԱՄՆ տարբեր քաղաքներում Անկախության օրվա տոնակատարությունների ժամանակ տեղի ունեցած հրաձգության հետևանքով սպանվել է առնվազն վեց մարդ։ Այս մասին հայտնել է NBC News հեռուստաալիքը։

Այսպես, ըստ հեռուստաալիքի տվյալների՝ Բրուքլինի Քոնի Այլենդ թաղամասում առնվազն ութ մարդ, այդ թվում՝ չորս երեխա, տուժել է հրաձգության հետևանքով, երբ անհայտ անձը կրակ է բացել տոնը նշող ընտանիքի ուղղությամբ։ Փենսակոլայում (Ֆլորիդա նահանգ) անհայտ անձինք կրակ են բացել երիտասարդների խմբի ուղղությամբ, ինչի հետևանքով մեկ մարդ է զոհվել։

Նմանատիպ միջադեպեր են գրանցվել նաև Ինդիանա, Կալիֆոռնիա, Միսսուրի և Օհայո նահանգներում։ Զոհվածների թվում կա 10-ամյա երեխա։
