Ջոն Բրամբլիթը առանձնահատուկ մի նկարիչ է, ում կտավներն ունեն իրենց հատուկ վառ գույներն ու կենսուրախությունը: Այս նկարչին, սակայն միայն իր գեղեցիկ կտավները չէ, որ առանձնահատուկ են դարձնում:

Բանն այն է, որ նա կույր է: 2001 թվականին էպիլեպսիայի դեմ պայքարելու համար օգտագործվող դեղերը փոխելու արդյունքում ժամանակի ընթացքում Ջոնը կուրացել է, քանի որ այդ հաբերը բավականին վտանգավոր էին հիվանդի ողջ օրգանիզմի առողջության համար:

Արդյունքում Ջոնը զրկվել է իր տեսողությունից, սակայն դա չի խանգարել իրեն աշխարհն իր երևակայության մեջ տեսնել:
