Միացյալ Նահանգները մտադիր է խթանել Հնդկաստանի և Վենեսուելայի միջև էներգետիկ համագործակցությունը։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոն հնդկական IANS լրատվական գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում։

Մերձավոր Արևելքի ճգնաժամի պայմաններում էներգետիկ մարտահրավերների լուծման վերաբերյալ հարցին պատասխանելով՝ պետքարտուղարը նշել է, որ «երկարաժամկետ լուծումը մատակարարումների դիվերսիֆիկացման մեջ է»։

«Հնդկաստանը բանակցություններ է վարում ոչ միայն Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ։ Մենք նաև սերտորեն համագործակցում ենք Վենեսուելայի հետ՝ նրա արտադրական հզորությունները մեծացնելու համար։ Հնդկաստանը աշխարհի այն քիչ երկրներից մեկն է, որն ունի Վենեսուելայի կողմից արտադրվող ծանր նավթը վերամշակելու տեխնոլոգիա, ուստի, մենք մտադիր ենք նպաստել համագործակցության այս ոլորտին», - ասել է նա։

«Հնդկաստանը վաղուց կենտրոնացած է էներգետիկ դիվերսիֆիկացիայի վրա։ Ես կարծում եմ, որ այս միտումը կշարունակվի։ Մենք, անշուշտ, կցանկանայինք մասնակցել դրան, քանի որ կարծում ենք, որ ունենք համապատասխան լուծումներ», - հավելել է Ռուբիոն։
