Բրազիլացի բոդիբիլդեր Ռոմարիո Դոս Սանտոս Ալվեսն «ուռած» մկաններ ունենալու համար յուղից և ալկոհոլից պատրաստված վտանգավոր ներարկումներ է արել, ինչը կարող էր հանգեցնել մահվան։ 1 երեխայի հայր 25-ամյա Սանտոսը խոստովանել է, որ երեխաներին վախեցրել են իր մկանները և նրան հրեշ են կոչել։

Վիճակը կրիտիկական է դարձել և բժիշկները նրան ասել են, որ կյանքը փրկելու միակ միջոցը ձեռքերը ամպուտացնելն է, բայց ինչպես նշում է Սանտոսը, իր բախտը բերել է, քանի որ բժիշկներին հաջողվել է փրկել իր կյանքը՝ առանց ձեռքերը կտրելու.

He even tricked his wife Marisangela Marinho, 22, (pictured together) into injecting him with the oil in places that he could not reach 
 
 
He said his swollen muscles terrify children in his hometown of Caldas Novas in Brazil, pictured with his wife and their son Asaffe
 
 
The filler began causing him constant pain and he almost suffered kidney failure due to the toxins in the oil
 
 
The former bodyguard said using the synthetic filler synthol cost him his sanity and nearly his life as he tried to kill himself when his wife was six months pregnant
 
 
He was told by a doctor that his only course of action would be to have one of his arms amputated
 
He also receives praise and adulation for his incredible physique - which made it even harder for him to kick the addiction, pictured during the early stages of injecting muscle enhancer into his arms and shoulders
 
 
He suffered from depression and was hospitalised after trying to kill himself when his wife was six months pregnant with their son Asaffe
