«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Իշխանական թիմում կրկին ծածուկ պայքար է գնում հանրապետության նախագահի պաշտոնի համար։

Տեղեկություններ կան, որ գործող նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը լուրջ առողջական խնդիրներ ունի, ոմանց կարծիքով՝ մինչեւ վերջնաժամկետ չի կարողանա պաշտոնավարել, եւ դրանով են պայմանավորված այդ բաղձալի ու դեռ չազատված պաշտոնը զբաղեցնելուն ուղղված հավակնությունները:

Դա հոյակապ պաշտոն է` ոչինչ չանելու, ճոխ աշխատավարձ ստանալու եւ ամբողջ տարին շրջագայելու սեր ունեցողների համար։ Խաչատուրյանը նախագահի պաշտոնում ընտրվել է 2022 թ․՝ յոթ տարի ժամկետով։

Նրա տեղին, ըստ լուրերի, հավակնում են վարչապետի աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Արայիկ Հարությունյանը, ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը, ինչպես նաեւ՝ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը։ Անցած անգամ եւս կար Արայիկ Հարությունյանի թեկնածությունը, սակայն թիմը կտրականապես դեմ է եղել նրան:
