Վահագնի հայտնի արձանը Երևանի Իսակովի պողոտայից կտեղափոխվի քաղաքի կենտրոն

Վահագն Վիշապաքաղի հայտնի արձանը Իսակովի պողոտայից կտեղափոխվի Երևանի կենտրոն: Այդ մասին համապատասխան որոշումն ընդունվեց այսօր ՀՀ կառավարության նիստի ժամանակ։

Արձանը ստեղծվել է 1969 թվականին (քանդակագործ՝ Կառլեն Նուրիջանյան) և այդ ժամանակ գտնվել է Լենինի, այժմ՝ Մաշտոցի պողոտայում։ 1980–ական թվականներին այն տեղափոխվել է Էջմիածնի խճուղի, այնուհետև՝ Իսակովի պողոտա։

ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարության ներկայացրած որոշման մեջ նշում է, որ ներկայիս վայրն անհարմար է` հաշվի առնելով, որ արձանը գտնվում է մայրուղիների խաչմերուկում, իսկ շուրջը չկա հետիոտնային գոտի կամ հրապարակ:

Արձանը կտեղափոխվի Երեւանի քաղաքապետարանի և «Մոսկվայի տուն» մշակութային կենտրոնի միջեւ գտնվող Ռուսաստանի հրապարակ` այդպիսով ավելի տեսանելի դառնալով երևանցիների և մայրաքաղաքի հյուրերի համար:
