Պակիստանի վարչապետ Շեհբազ Շարիֆը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի և Իրանի միջև խաղաղության շուրջ փաստաթղթի վերջնական տեքստը համաձայնեցվել է, Իսլամաբադն աշխատում է կողմերի հետ հաջորդ քայլերի ուղղությամբ:

«Խաղաղությունը երբեք այսքան մոտ չի եղել, որքան հիմա»,- նշել է Շարիֆը:

Ավելի վաղ ամերիկացի և իրանցի պաշտոնյաները հայտարարել էին, որ Վաշինգտոնի և Թեհրանի միջև փոխըմբռնման հուշագրի ստորագրումը կարող է տեղի ունենալ առաջիկա մի քանի օրվա ընթացքում:

Իրանի արտգործնախարար Աբբաս Արաղչին նշել է՝ վերջնական համաձայնեցումից հետո հուշագիրը թվային կերպով կստորագրվի համապատասխան երկրներում: Կողմերը կպարտավորվեն միմյանց նկատմամբ պատերազմ չսկսել, և կմեկնարկեն բանակցությունների երկրորդ փուլը: 60 օրվա ընթացքում պետք է ձեռք բերվի վերջնական համաձայնագիր, որը հիմնականում կկենտրոնանա Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի և երկրի դեմ պատժամիջոցների վերացման վրա:
