Իրանական Mehr գործակալության տեղեկացված աղբյուրը հերքել է ամերիկյան Axios պարբերականի հաղորդումը Իրանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև առաջարկվող համաձայնագրի բովանդակության մասին՝ այն անվանելով ԱՄՆ-ի դիրքորոշման արտացոլում։

Mehr-ի հետ զրույցում աղբյուրը նշել է, որ այդ պնդումները արտացոլում են ամերիկյան կողմի տեսակետը և չեն կարող հաստատվել Իրանի կողմից։

Axios-ը ավելի վաղ հայտնել էր, որ առաջարկվող համաձայնագիրը նախատեսում է երկու կողմերի միջև հրադադարի ռեժիմի երկարաձգում 60 օրով, Հորմուզի նեղուցի աշխատանքի վերսկսում առանց տարանցման վճարի և Իրանի կողմից նեղուցում ծովային ականների հեռացում։

Թեհրանում գտնվող աղբյուրը մերժել է հրապարակված մանրամասները և հերքել, որ դրանք արտացոլում են Իրանի դիրքորոշումը։
