Իրանի հետ գործարքն անհնար է ծովային շրջափակման վերացման դեպքում։ Այս մասին ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը գրել է Truth Social-ի իր էջում:

«Իրանը չի ցանկանում, որ Հորմուզի նեղուցը փակ լինի. նրանք ուզում են, որ այն բաց լինի, և իրենք կարողանան օրական 500 միլիոն դոլար աշխատել։ Նրանք ասում են, թե ուզում են, որ այն փակ մնա միայն այն պատճառով, որ ես այն ամբողջությամբ շրջափակել եմ, ուստի նրանք պարզապես ուզում են իրենց դեմքը փրկել»,- գրել է նա։

«Բայց եթե մենք դա անենք, Իրանի հետ գործարքը կարող է երբեք չկայանալ, քանի դեռ մենք չենք պայթեցրել նրանց երկրի մնացած մասը՝ ներառյալ իրենց առաջնորդներին»,- հավելել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը:
